Taylor Barcroft explains the difference between the Blip.tv Safari Recorder Compression vs. Final Cut Pro DV Recording and direct Compression to H.264 MPEG4. Taylor Explains this test from this FCP DV recording NOT compressed with H.264 MPEG-4. This is a 3 minute 4 MB file. Very small 1.33 MB per minute and still ok quality. Not as good as H.264. But everyone can see this one. Keep in mind that the Blip.tv Safari Recorder is ALPHA with plenty of time and space for improvement before it is done. This is NEW NON H.264 version.
